Sri Bharati Tirtha Veda Patashala is located in Sengottai, a serene town in the Tenkasi district, in the Southern part of Tamil Nadu. We are a branch of the Dakshinamnaya Sharada Peetham, Sringeri.
Our patashala is managed by Sengottai Religious and Charitable Trust (SRACT).
Our sister institution, Sri Bharati Tirtha Samskrita Vidyalaya, is dedicated to the revival of Sanskrit. It offers spoken and written Sanskrit courses to not only our patashala vidyarthis but also the general public in the town. This institute is managed by Sengottai Sri Sharadamba Charitable Trust (SSSCT).

The Vedas are the timeless wellspring of Sanatana Dharma, encompassing its religious, aesthetic, and spiritual dimensions. Veda Patashala is dedicated to preserving this ancient knowledge and the traditional guru-shishya parampara, the hallowed method of learning at the feet of a master. With the blessings of the Jagadgurus, we shoulder the sacred responsibility of upholding this tradition. We aspire to prepare our vidyarthis to serve Dharma as enlightened torchbearers, capable of inspiring and guiding society along this righteous path.
